Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

HAMSTATION is built to preserve your privacy. This page explains, in plain English, what data the site handles.

Data we collect

None. We do not run user accounts. We do not upload any tool inputs, log entries, or preferences to any server. All computation happens in your browser.

Local storage

A few tools (for example the logbook and slider preferences) save data in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is deleted when you clear browser storage.

Cookies

The site does not set marketing or analytics cookies. Essential cookies may be used only for basic session behavior; no personal data is collected through them.

Advertising

The site may display advertisements served by Google (including Google AdSense). These ads may use cookies or similar technologies to serve personalized content based on your browsing activity. Google and its partners may collect information about your visits to this and other websites to provide targeted advertisements. You can opt out of Google personalized advertising through the following links:Opting out does not remove ads — it only stops them from being tailored to your interests.

Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service. We have no way to track individual visitors or their behavior on the site.

Third-party links

Where we link to external resources (regulator sites, references), those sites have their own privacy practices which we do not control.

Data security

Because we never receive your data, we cannot lose or leak it. Client-side security still depends on your browser and device — keep them updated.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Under the GDPR (EU/EEA) and CCPA (California), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port any personal data a service holds about you. Since HAMSTATION does not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to disclose, modify, or delete. Any data stored locally in your browser can be managed directly through your browser settings.

Children

The site is safe for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
